Registration notes:
This tartan has been designed for the Scottish Team at the 2014 Commonwealth Games Scotland. The tartan is inspired by the four seasons, spring, summer, autumn and winter, represented by turquoise for spring, coral for summer, caramel for autumn and navy for winter. The turquoise reflects the blue waters of Vatersay Bay, Barra, and the blue of the Saltire. The coral is made up of soft red and fuchsia to reflect the colour of heather on the Scottish mountains and hills in summer. The caramel represents the bracken in autumn in the Scottish Highlands. The narrow navy stripe represents the dark days of winter and reflects the Commonwealth Games Scotland corporate tartan which is predominately blue.
